History

To answer a growing demand in the martial art industry, Mr. Raymond Damblant founded: The paradise of Martial Arts in 1963. A small company that specialise in the sale of martial arts equipments.
After modest debuts, Mr. Damblant associated himself with Madam Celine Darveau. The company then changed name under the banner Jukado in 1971. Jukado evolved for numerous years on the Henri-Bourassa boulevard corner Lajeunesse St. next door of the Hakudokan Dojo.

In 1991, the company moved to expended on St-Laurent Blvd. corner Sauriol St. to offer a bigger variety of judo and martial arts products to their customers.
In 1999, Jukado became accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all around the world, thanks to its commercial web site.

Jukado was founded thanks to the love for martial arts of its owners. Known well in this field, Mr. Damblant and Madam Darveau always tried to develop and make martial arts shine whether it is in Quebec, in Canada or all around the world. Here are some of their respective realizations.
